Been so busy getting ready for tomorrow's big rally, forgot to get this 
announcement out!

Below is the agenda for the monthly meeting of the Iraq Affinity Group, at 
7 PM this coming Wednesday, October 14 at our office at 2807 SE Stark.

Here's the proposed agenda for Wednesday's meeting:

MISSION STATEMENT:
   The Peace and Justice Works Iraq Affinity Group is committed to educating
   the public about the effects of U.S. policy on the people of Iraq, and
   other areas including SW Asia, North Africa, and the "Middle East."

7:00 PM Political update: brief headlines including what's new in
         Iraq/Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya, Iran, Ukraine,
         Gaza and more

7:25 PM Proposed and ongoing actions:
      ---Syria war: One year later Sep 23 &
          Authorizations for Use of Military Force-debrief
      ---Afghanistan 14 years later: October 11 mobilization
         "Call Out for Peace: End the Wars" --debrief
      ---January 2016: Iraq War part I 25 Years Later-- planning
      ---Meeting with peace and justice community members-reports
      ---War $$ home campaign-- petition updates & Council follow up
      ---Troops home campaign: next steps?
