We promised Jill Severson, the organizer of this event with Zaher Wahab, 
that we'd send out information once the date and location were set... 
unfortunately the information came in this afternoon and the event is 
tomorrow night! But for those who have time to attend, here's the info, 
along with info on Zaher's appearance on KBOO next Thursday.

Greetings All!

Most of you attended an event with Professor Zaher Wahab in August of 2013.
Four years ago Professor Wahab retired from Lewis and Clark College and
returned to Afghanistan to teach there. Currently Zaher Wahab is the
Director of the MA in Education Program at American University of
Afghanistan in Kabul. He and his wife are in the U.S. for one month. We
have the privilege of getting to listen and talk with him tomorrow night.
You are all welcome!

Professor Zaher Wahab's talk tomorrow is entitled:

*Empire By Invitation: The US in Afghanistan.*
It will occur between 6:00-8:00pm at the 18th Avenue Peace House (2116 NE
18th Avenue in Portland, OR See: http://www.18thavepeacehouse.org/ ). There
will be food and a Q & A discussion as part of the gathering.

The talk will be audio-recorded. All are welcome.
The event is wheelchair accessible.

like and don't already have his email.
