Below is an event being organized by our friends at Iraq Veterans Against 
the War. They contacted us via Portland Copwatch and we helped line up 
Rev. LeRoy Haynes Jr. of the Albina Ministerial Alliance Coalition for 
Justice and Police Reform on the panel. The event is set to plan ahead for 
what to do under the coming administration. We're glad to be connecting 
the issues of war & peace with the issues of police accountability.

Drop the MIC (Military Industrial Complex)

As the dust settles from the 8th and reality sets in, it has become
apparent that a conversation must be held to address what will happen to
our fair city and the people within over the next four years.

Iraq Veterens Against the War is hosting a emergency community meeting/
Panel to discuss with our peers the perils at hand.

We are stronger when we are both connected to our own local community and
United for the common cause of transforming our culture of militarism into
one that respeects our common human dignity and the planet.
