Greetings Iraq Affinity Group supporters

The next meeting of the Peace and Justice Works Iraq Affinity Group will 
be held this coming Wednesday, February 10 at 7 PM at our office at 2807 
SE Stark.

Here's the proposed agenda for Wednesday's meeting:

MISSION STATEMENT:
   The Peace and Justice Works Iraq Affinity Group is committed to educating
   the public about the effects of U.S. policy on the people of Iraq, and
   other areas including SW Asia, North Africa, and the "Middle East."

7:00 PM Political update: brief headlines including what's new in
       Iraq/Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya, Iran, Ukraine,
       Gaza and more

7:25 PM Proposed and ongoing actions:
    ---January 15: Iraq War part I 25 Years Later--debrief
    ---Guantanamo resolution--updates
        plus Guantanamo 14 years later (Jan. 11) -- follow up
    ---Fri March 18: Iraq War part II 13 years later--planning/title
    ---Next Peace Network action/mobilization?
    ---Meeting with peace and justice community members--reports
    ---BDS resolution regarding City investments-- update
    ---Troops home campaign: next steps?
    ---Upcoming ideas /opportunities for educational forums/demonstrations
