Hello again PJW supporters
This is a reminder that (so far as we can tell from the weather forecasts)
our annual meeting is still set for this coming Saturday, February 24 at
12:30 PM, preceded at noon by a vegetarian potluck. All taking place at
the Social Justice Action Center at 400 SE 12th. I've pasted in below the
agenda items from the email we sent out last week.
If you have any doubts and don't receive a further email about the
meeting, call the office Saturday morning to check for updates
(503-236-3065). If the message still says the meeting is on, the
meeting is on.

This is still coming to you prior to our February 24 annual meeting (one week
from Saturday), where we review the past year, look to the coming year, and
elect our Board.
At the Annual Meeting, in addition to voting on the Board, we are asking
that the membership affirm the following amendment to PJW's policies:
Paying Member: Person who sends $20-45 sliding scale* with written indication
that the money is intended specifically for membership, such as a PJW generated
slip with the membership box checked.
*- sliding scale was changed from $10-30 to $15-40 on 8/11/07, we are
proposing to increase it to $20-$45.
We will also ask to affirm Portland Copwatch's proposal to increase subscription
prices for the People's Police Report from $15 to $20. The last increase, from
$10 to $15, was in February 2009.
Please let us know if you have any concerns, especially if you can't make it to
