Iraq Affinity Group supporters:
It's funny, the guy who edited this email from Flying Focus Video didn't
notice that one of the cosponsors of Dr. Farris' talk in January was the
Iraq Affinity Group even though we are not listed in the description. I
shall give that guy a hard time, that is for sure!

Anyway, for those who were unable to make it to the talk, it will be on
cable access these coming weeks. Perhaps some generous donors can put
money toward streaming rights and it will then be online for all to
watch.. ?

Healing wounds in the open-air prison of Gaza next two weeks on the Video Bus

The next two episodes of the Flying Focus Video Bus feature an orthopedic
surgeon from West Linn, recently returned from a trip to Gaza where he worked
with a team of Palestinian orthopedic specialists. On January 13, 2019, he
spoke at Taborspace in SE Portland, giving a first hand account of the
humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip. Dr. Farris described the type of
injuries he saw as a member of a delegation from Washington Physicians for
Social Responsibility as well as the deplorable conditions inside what has been
called the largest open-air prison on Earth.

The event was organized by the Portland Chapter of Jewish Voice for Peace. It
was co-sponsored by Americans United for Palestinian Human Rights, Central
Pacific Conference, Palestine/Israel Network, United Church of Christ,
Democratic Socialists of America (Portland Chapter), Episcopal Diocese of
Oregon Task Force for Palestinian Human Rights, Friends of Sabeel (North
America), Jewish Voice for Peace (Portland State University Chapter), KBOO
Community Radio, Lutherans for Justice in the Holy Land, Portland Committee for
Human Rights in the Philippines, and Tree of Life Educational Fund.

This show was recorded by pdxjustice media productions, and produced / edited
by Barb Greene.
