PJW supporters
If you missed our livestream event with David Swanson on June 24, AND/OR
if you haven't gotten around to watching the 90 minute video on our
YouTube page, AND/OR if you want to watch it again, but maybe can only
spend an hour looking at video, consider tuning in for the Flying Focus
Video re-edit of the show this week (part 1, 30 minutes) and the week
after (part 2, also 30 minutes). As a member of that group I was able to
cull out the substantive parts of the talk, add graphics and streamline
the event for your viewing pleasure.
The showtimes are below and as noted, the show can be seen streaming on
the internet if you don't have cable tv.
We expect the finished 2-part show to be posted once the cablecast
schedule has run its course.
Let us (or flying focus) know what you think!
thanks

Online & On TV: David Swanson talks WWIII next two weeks on the Video Bus
David Swanson, Executive Director of World Beyond War, is an author, activist,
journalist, radio host and campaign coordinator for RootsAction.org. On June 24
he spoke on a Portland, Oregon-based livestream event covering a variety of
issues including the illegality (and madness) of making war, how environmental
and police issues are part of the same ecosystem, so to speak, and how US
policy seems set up to spark a third World War. He also spoke about the way
that remote killing by drone is making war easier, and answered questions
including about how to keep the peace movement strong. Swanson's books include
"War Is A Lie." He was awarded the 2018 Peace Prize by the U.S. Peace Memorial
Foundation and has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.
The original 90 minute video was presented on Zoom via Youtube by Peace and
Justice Works Iraq Affinity Group and can be found here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Bqt6OkrGM0 . The event was hosted by local
media personality Ani Raven Haines. FFVC producer Dan Handelman, also a PJW
member, produced the original and Flying Focus' two-part, 60 minute edited
version.

PS: Open Signal/PCM continues to cablecast all programs with "letterboxing" so
that our shows, created in old-school 4:3 format, appear in the middle of your
screen. Also, our show is carried on the Comcast's High Definition channel 322
on Monday evenings, channel 323 on Wednesday nights and channel 321 on Fridays,
as well as CenturyLink's channels 8502, 8503 and 1011, but our shows are not
yet produced in HD.
