Hello peaceful people
The enormous aid package for Ukraine, still predominantly for weapons
rather than diplomacy, was held up yesterday by Sen. Rand Paul wanting to
add an Inspector General to oversee how the money is spent. Sen. Paul is
someone who's inconsistent in reliability but frequently opposes war.

As a result, the vote can't take place until at least sometime next week,
so if you didn't already let Sens. Wyden and Merkley know how you feel,
there's still time.
>From the article:
Paul warned about the pace of spending, arguing that “we
cannot save Ukraine by dooming the U.S. economy.”
“Americans are feeling the pain [from inflation] and Congress seems
intent only on adding to that pain by shoveling more money out the door
as fast as they can,” Paul said.
While you're touching base with Sen. Wyden, you may want to say how you
feel about the fact that he voted in favor of a non-binding resolution
prohibiting Biden from taking the "terrorist" designation away from Iran's
Revolutionary Guard. The vote was 62-33, with 46 Republicans and 16
Democrats.

Win Without War has an action alert about this which refers to the
resolution as a "Motion to Instruct."
