Hello PJW supporters

A few months ago, our landlord let us know that he was going to 
reluctantly raise our rent in light of all the bills, etc. he has to also 
face as increasing. Our rent is very low for 2023 Portland and the 
increase of $50 a month seems modest enough!

However looking at this long-term, it means we have to find $600 a year 
that we're currently using for other expenses in order to stay in our 
office. So this email is meant as an encouragement for, maybe 60 people on 
this list to consider increasing your donation to PJW by $10 this year, 
and perhaps on an ongoing basis?  (Though any combination will be great, 
30 people sending $20, 15 people sending $40 or one person sending $600 
for instance.)

We're excited that we're now in our fourth year of hosting the community 
weekly peace rallies downtown and Portland Copwatch is about to send out 
the 30th anniversary issue of its newsletter. Flying Focus will be 
recording its 32nd anniversary show to air in November.

If you're able to send any amount to help us cover this increase it would 
be much appreciated!!!
