[pjw] Heads up: Iraq Affinity Group meeting on 3rd Tuesday 10/17 this month

Hello IAG supporters

Due to a scheduling conflict we moved the Iraq Affinity Group meeting from 
the normal 2nd Tuesday to the third Tuesday this month, so it will be two 
weeks from today on October 17 at 4 PM.

As you've seen from month to month, our agenda covers so much more than 
Iraq-- for instance, this Friday's special rally is going to focus on the 
war in Ukraine. We organize around US wars and foreign policy in many 
countries including Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya, Iran, 
Gaza/West Bank and Israel, Yemen, Korea, Venezuela, and more. We talk 
about the military budget, the environmental impacts of war, the scourge 
of nuclear weapons, civil rights/liberties and we plan for educational 
actions.

If you want to join us please do. Unlike with Portland Copwatch (one of 
our sister affinity groups) there is no orientation to take to attend an 
IAG meeting! So if you or maybe even someone you know who's not already on 
this list might want a place to plug in and plan for peace, you're always 
welcome!

Final note while I maybe have your attention-- we handed out nearly 40 
fact sheets last Friday about the wars in Syria and Afghanistan.
