Some of you may have received postcards in the mail within the last week
announcing the PJW fall quarterly meeting, which will once again be 
virtual. (We are in constant discussion about in-person/hybrid events.) 
It's on November 18, which is just 3 weeks from yesterday!

Here are the details, from the postcard:

Fall Quarterly Meeting
Saturday, November 18, 2023
  12:00 noon (informal discussion)

Peace and Justice Works supporters:

Join PJW on Saturday, November 18, for our Fall Quarterly meeting via 
conference call. (Please go away COVID!) We begin at 12 noon with informal 
discussion before the 12:30-2:30 PM meeting.

Agenda: affinity group reports (Iraq, Copwatch, Flying Focus), financial 
updates and nominations for the board/officers. These roles are currently 
held by President Shelley Bedell, Secretary Dan Handelman, Jocelyn McAuley 
and Linda Tomassi, who are all Authorized Check Signers, and Luke Anavi.

Since March 2020, we've continued to host the weekly rally for peace and 
justice every Friday at 5 PM at Pioneer Courthouse Square (SW 
Yamhill/Broadway). Early November marks 22 years of that rally! We talk 
Israel/Palestine, Ukraine/Russia and more!
